Coordinators’ instructions for entering Fall 2024 course information into the LLI on-line Program Plan process.

  1. Here are links of interest.
  2. We distinguish between sessions and groups as follows:
    1. Classes with more than one session (e.g. when a class has too much information to convey in a single 90-minute session).
    2. Classes which need to limit the size of any given class and therefore have more than one group in order to accommodate the expected demand.
  3. Begin by going to the input page at the link above and filling out the requested information. If you do not have all the information and cannot finish the form in one sitting, DO NOT close your browser or turn off your computer. If you were to do that, your work would be lost. Rather, go to the bottom of the page and click on “Click here either to SAVE your work for returning to it later OR to GO ON to the next step.” In the screen that opens, enter your own email address in the blank. You will then be sent a link by which you can return to finish your work. Then it is safe to close your browser.
  4. Once you have entered all of the information, you are ready to forward the information to the editor. Make sure that you have selected the choice of steps as “Step 1: From Coordinator to Editor (Elizabeth).” Then click on “Click here either to SAVE your work for returning to it later OR to GO ON to the next step.”
  5. When the next page opens, in the space for entering an email address, enter, not your own email this time, but rather the address for the editor, Elizabeth. Her address is shown on the form. To avoid typos, please copy and paste her address into the space.
  6. When the editor has finished with your input, she will send it to the Program Chair (Karen), and then Karen will send it to the webmaster (David), who will post it to the web.  He will then tell you it is posted so that you can check to make sure that the editing process did not change the meaning of what you intended.
  7. If you want to check on the status of your input, you can look at the link above called “Link to status sheet.” Keep in mind that updating that status link is a manual process, so it will be a bit behind the actual status.
  8. As each entry is approved, it will be added to the Draft F2024 PG page, and you can look at that via the link above. If you see something that went wrong, notify David Pace.
